Postcards from the Road

Dear Blogger Family & Friends,

Mid-October greetings from the Pink Crusader! As always we welcome you to our blog spot with an endless supply of warm and hearty hugs! Nothing makes us happier than to see your smiling face at our cyber-door! Now that you are here, grab a cup of hot cider, relax, and read on...

"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns."
-George Eliot

You will be happy to know that our little book, The Faces behind Breast Cancer continues to receive favorable response as we travel from city to city, coast to coast. We appreciate your ongoing encouragement and thank you for spreading the word among family and friends, as we enter into the fourth week of the book tour.

Most recently, we enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of our sponsor Cellcosmet (in affiliation with Saks Fifth Avenue) at their locations in Los Angeles, Dallas and our home base of Houston, Texas!(And later this week, we look forward to additional pampering in New York City and Tysons Corner, VA.) We are very grateful for the solid support of Cellcosmet and encourage all of you to sample their amazing skin-care products which are exclusive to select Saks Fifth Avenue stores.

We would also like to acknowledge the 20 + participants who took part in Friday's book-signing event at the Saks Houston Galleria store. It was certainly a successful and joyous event with champagne-filled flutes being passed around like bottled water! Curious customers were warmly greeted with a toast of bubbly as their books were signed by the author and posse. This was not your typical shopping excursion by any stretch of the imagination...but then again, put 20 gregarious cancer babes in the same room, and good things are bound to happen! For those of you who could not attend, take heart that more opportunities await you in November (see below)...although we can't make promises on the champagne!

Okay...Without further verbiage, and per your requests, please take note of the most current updates to the Book Tour, Book Sales, and Media Coverage:

It seems that each time we meet, there are so many wonderful stories to hear and to see the miraclous changes in each life. GOD IS SO MERCIFUL AND GOOD TO US ALL !
